Operations, Systems and Compliance for Service-Based Businesses

The structure, process and documentation that keep a business running smoothly

About Me

I'm Natalle Krynauw, and I've spent close to 20 years in corporate operations, mostly in insurance and risk engineering. I've always enjoyed improving systems, solving problems, and finding better ways of working.

For much of that time, I led the operations team for a specialist risk engineering group. That meant keeping a team of consultants organised and moving, making sure work got out the door to a high standard, and managing the systems and reporting that kept the business running. It also meant overseeing risk and compliance for the function, and building the compliance and quality systems it ran on. It gave me a broad understanding of how people, systems, process and compliance need to work together for a business to run properly.

Eventually I wanted to take that experience somewhere the impact would be more immediate. Small businesses move faster, the problems are tangible, and when something improves you can see it straight away. I find that genuinely satisfying.

That's why I started Loom Operations, to help small business owners get their operations, systems and compliance in order, so they can focus on the work they're actually good at.

I'm based in Melbourne and work remotely with clients across Australia.

Who I Work With

I work with sole operators and small teams who want their operations running properly, including the systems and documentation that keep them meeting their obligations, without the overhead of hiring internally.

That includes trades and hands-on service businesses needing help with scheduling, client communication and job flow. Allied health and professional services practices with admin-heavy workloads or compliance requirements. Consultants, creatives and specialists managing client-heavy work. And businesses operating in more regulated areas that need clear process and documentation behind what they do.

If you want your business to run properly, and be able to show it when it matters, you're in the right place.

Services

Twenty years in corporate operations means I've done all of these: the daily execution, the systems behind it, the ongoing management once it's running, and the compliance and documentation that holds it all up..

The Diagnostic is a standalone starting point if you're not sure what you need. The other four aren't separate services so much as different parts of the same job — I move between them depending on what your business needs at the time.

Operational Diagnostic

A structured look at how your business actually runs day to day. Process review, systems audit, and a clear set of findings and recommendations, so you know what to fix first.

Operational Execution

Practical, repeatable tasks that keep your day-to-day organised. Inbox and calendar management, client communication, scheduling, document preparation, invoicing support, and meeting follow-through.

Systems and Workflow Setup

Creating structure and clarity in the backend of your business. Workspace and tool setup, SOP creation, workflow mapping, onboarding and offboarding flows, and folder and file structure design.

Operational Oversight and Maintenance

Keeping your systems and workflows running accurately once they're in place. Managing task flow, contractor coordination, team follow-ups, and catching issues before they become problems.

Compliance and Documentation Support

Building the process, records and documentation that let you show your business is meeting its obligations, not just that you have a policy on file. Useful for businesses in regulated or higher-stakes industries, or anyone preparing for a review, audit or registration.

She has the ability to step into a business, quickly diagnose gaps, and build the frameworks that are missing - documented processes, clear workflows, and the operational rhythm that keeps a business running smoothly. She is thorough, reliable, and commercially minded, and exactly the kind of operator a small business needs in its corner to create efficiency, clarity and momentum."
